From the crumbling fire trap in the Subura to the less dangerous versions around the cattle market. the Insula was Rome’s apartment and hi-rise complex. Some sprouting five stories or more boasting taverns, bakers and less “decent” places to spend denarii! They were (at times) mass affordable housing for the masses.
The terrain is made from MDF and is part of Sarissa Precisions Streets of Rome range. Shortest side 132mm x 157mm x to balcony 70mm and roof 140mm
