Description

Though samurai Iemon (Tomisaburo Wakayama) had sought to salve his fraying marriage to Oiwa (Ayuko Fujishiro), he got over it once he had the attentions of the wealthier Oume (Yumiko Mihara), and they both plotted for Oiwa’s disfigurement and disgrace. While Oiwa took her own life, her bid to get even with her spouse and his lover reached from beyond the grave.
