To Montreal TV news cameraman Cliff Reynolds (Gordon Pinsent), it was just another filler story on the recent summer swelter that he was filming background for. Unfortunately, his lens captured recently escaped con Jerry Cuozzo (Lawrence Dane), on the lam from cops and criminals after a drug deal gone sideways.
