Wide coverage of Jobim’s immortal melodies places him among the premier composers in the jazz and vocal pantheons. Wilson attests to the panoply of tastes and colors in quoting widely from the world songbook as he wafts blithely over the changes and sailing rhythms of Jobim’s compositions.
