Ombre est Lumire is the second studio album by French rap group IAM, released in November 1993 on the Delabel label. Benefiting from greater resources than for the previous one, the group recorded the album in Aix-en-Provence. The mixing took place in New York. After the release of Je danse le mia, a hit in the summer of 1994, the group enjoyed considerable success. The first double album in the history of French rap, Ombre est lumire is considered by Akhenaton as “the emblematic album of the IAM spirit”
