The album features a heartbroken Isaak on the bitter opening track “Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing,” chart-topping single “Somebody’s Crying,” and harrowing title track “Forever Blue.” In 1996, the record landed Isaak his first Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album, and “Somebody’s Crying” was nominated for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.
