Description
A popular east coast vocal group, The Channels formed in New York in 1955 around the singers Larry Hampden (first tenor), Billy Morris (second tenor), and Edward Doulphin (baritone); they started as a quintet with two additional part-time members, but soon after they permanently added Earl Michael Lewis (lead) and Clifton Wright (bass), formerly of The Lotharios. They released the single I Really Love You b/w What Do You Do in 1957 for the Port label. Presented here is the original 45 RPM issue, newly remastered.
