Description
Anna May Wong stars as Lin Yang, a school teacher who goes behind enemy lines during the Japanese occupation of China. Her allegiance to the cause is not only tested by bombings and collapsed bridges but by the fear that someone in her circle is an enemy agent. This wartime melodrama was directed by Joseph H. Lewis, a B-movie legend who would later helm such classics as Gun Crazy and The Big Combo. It also stars Noel Madison, Leslie Denison, Teala Loring, Connie Leon, and Dan Seymour.
