Description
Having broken out of prison in Depression-era Mississippi, Bowie (Keith Carradine) and Chicamaw (John Shuck) partner up with old crony T-Dub (Bert Remsen) for a string of bank heists. Their efforts to stay one step ahead of the law might hit an unexpected snag as Bowie finds genuine love with local naif Keechie (Shelley Duvall). Robert Altman’s atmospheric crime drama, based on the same novel that inspired “They Live by Night, ” co-stars Tom Skerritt and, in her film debut, Louise Fletcher.
