CD reissue of this album from the late jazz great. Return was originally released in 1979 on Vanguard. He was joined by three of the Brubeck brothers (keyboardist Darius, electric bassist Chris and drummer Dan… Dave Brubeck’s sons) along with Ray Mantilla on guitar. Larry Coryell was an American jazz guitarist known as the “Godfather of Fusion”. He was one of the pioneers of jazz-fusion with his group The Eleventh House. He recorded numerous albums on the Vanguard label all through the 1970s.
