All come from some of Louisiana’s most famous independent producers: Floyd Soileau’s Jin, Eddie Shuler’s Goldband and JD Miller and Carol Rachou’s plethora of exotic label-names. Features some of Swamp Pop’s biggest names – Johnnie Allan, John Fred, Jivin’ Gene and Warren Storm. Swamp Pop’s two distinctive styles – tear-jerkers or happy rockers – all have that South Louisiana sound.
