Discharged home to her palatial estate in the wake of a nervous breakdown, wealthy Laura Wynant (Olivia de Havilland) was riding the grounds when she heard muffled pleas for help. Certain she’s found a woman buried alive, her attempts to get aid are rebuffed by neighbors who think she’s relapsing. Is she delusional… or is the party responsible going to claim a second victim?
